Congratulations to Drs. Zhuoli Zhang and Vahid Yaghmai for receiving the official Notice of Award from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for their R01 grant proposal titled “Developing MRI-Guided Preventive Dendritic Cell Vaccination Strategy to Avoid Post-Surgical Pancreatic Cancer Recurrence and Metastasis” (2 R01 CA209886-07A1). This project has been awarded a five-year grant with $2 million in NIH support.
The principal investigators (PIs) for this project are Drs. Zhuoli Zhang and Vahid Yaghmai. The team of co-investigators (Co-Is) were Drs. Michael McClland, Min-Ying Su, David Imagawa, and Aydin Eresen.
Dr. Yaghmai expressed his gratitude to the team for their hard work, while Dr. Zhang acknowledged the support of Dr. Yaghmai’s RSNA seed grant, which laid the foundation for the proposal in 2017.
Both PIs would like to extend their appreciation to co-Is Drs. Su, McClland, Su, Eresen, and Imagawa for their valuable criticism and guidance, which significantly contributed to the improvement of our proposal.
