

Four of our current residents have been selected to join programs within the Association of Academic Radiology and the American Roentgen Ray Society. Please join us in celebrating the great achievements of these doctors!
Dr. Ozivefueshe Dimowo and Dr. Michelle Bardis both were accepted into the ACR – AAR Research Scholar Program. This program seeks to bring together residents and fellows who have a background and interest in scientific health services and health policy research with seasoned academic radiologists. The full day program offers health policy research curriculum, scholar presentations and focused mentoring sessions.

Dr. Angellica Gordon was selected to join the Association of Academic Radiology’s Radiology Resident Academic Leadership Development Program. This program provides focused mentorship, leadership, and academic development activities to a group of high-potential second-year (PGY-3) diagnostic radiology residents in order to better prepare for their transition into successful careers as leaders in academic radiology.
Dr. Kevin Dao joins the American Roentgen Ray Society’s Sparking and Promoting Academic Radiology Careers program. It is a new three-day program from ARRS designed to introduce PGY2 and PGY3 radiology residents to the many opportunities in academic radiology. The SPARC program will take place Monday, April 28 through Wednesday, April 30 during ARRS 2025 in San Diego.
