We are so proud to announce that 3 undergraduate students of Translational Image Lab have recieved the presitgious UCI Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program. Dr. Vahid Yaghmai gave appreciation to the fellows’ diligent efforts, while Dr. Zhuoli Zhang encouraged them to engage in more projects.
The awarded students and their respective projects are as follows:
Sandra Ngo, under the mentorship of Dr. Zhang and Dr. Yaghmai, worked on “Gemcitabine and DC Vaccination Synergy in PDAC for Enhanced Therapeutic Efficacy”.
Emilie Elizabeth Garcia, also mentored by us, focused on “A Non-Invasive Machine Learning Tool for Predicting Early Treatment Response in Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cases Using Combination Immunotherapy”.
Jadyn Eve Lontoc, under our guidance, developed “Generation of Anti-Tumor Dendritic Cells Vaccine for Pancreatic Cancer Treatment”.
