Harold Park, MD, MS, completed a master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics at the Georgetown University School of Medicine before going on to receive his medical degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine.  He completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at Lenox Hill Hospital, in New York City, and a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Emory University.  Dr. Park comes to the UC Irvine Medical Center after previously serving as the Medical Director of Interventional Radiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.  Dr. Park has experience as an attending in both the academic and private practice settings.

Dr. Park specializes in a wide range of vascular and non-vascular conditions and performs a myriad of interventional radiology procedures.  He has particular clinical interests in women’s health interventions (including the treatment of uterine fibroids, pelvic congestion syndrome and post-partum hemorrhage); portal vein and biliary interventions; complex IVC filter retrievals and pulmonary artery interventions for pulmonary arteriovenous malformations (PAVMs), pulmonary embolism (PE) and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH).
